FIND THE CRIME RATE FOR ANY ADDRESS Go to www.lvmpd.com/crimeviewcommunity/ , agree to terms, click next, then select all, then next, and key in an address in Las Vegas. A map will come up showing what crimes were committed in a quarter to 1 mile radius of the address. This is an eyeopener!

Did you know your local library offers classes and special events
for all ages? Check out www.lvccld.org for more info. The West
Sahara branch has a beautiful museum and if you are a member,
you get special "members only" invitations to art openings, including
hors d oevures and wine. The membership is only $50 a year for the
the whole family and the openings are usually free. Just bring a tip
for the wine. It's a great way to introduce your kids to a little culture!
Also, the Rainbow and Buffalo branch has an outdoor amphitheater
where you can picnic and watch plays.
